About Villy Kyriakopoulou

Greek mezzo-soprano Villy Kyriakopoulou will make her role debut as Fenena in Verdi’s Nabucco in Greece in November 2026. In April 2027, she will make her role debut as Suzuki in Puccini’s Madama Butterfly, also in Greece. She will also appear as the Third Lady in a production of Mozart’s Die Zauberflöte at the Hochschule für Musik Karlsruhe. Her repertoire already includes roles such as Rosina (Il barbiere di Siviglia), Dorabella (Così fan tutte), Cherubino (Le nozze di Figaro) and the Sorceress (Dido and Aeneas), and is currently expanding continuously through her upcoming role debuts. In 2026, she was awarded the Bayreuth Scholarship of the Richard Wagner Association. Kyriakopoulou is currently pursuing both a Master’s degree in Opera and a Master’s degree in Vocal Studies at the Hochschule für Musik Karlsruhe.
