Qualification Rounds & Semifinal – Free Admission

The Qualification Rounds on 21 and 22 September and the Semifinal on 23 September will take place at the Gewehrhaus at Weikersheim Castle and are open to the public.

Admission is free and no reservation is required. Please collect your admission ticket at the Competition Office on the Market Square (before the bridge leading to the castle).
The competition sessions are expected to take place daily from 10:00 am to 1:00 pm and 2:00 pm to 6:00 pm. The detailed schedule will be published here shortly before the competition.

Admission is possible between contestants' performances only.

During the Qualification Rounds, the 40 singers selected from around 400 applicants will perform opera arias and songs by Scandinavian composers for the international jury. Around 20 contestants will advance to the Semifinal.
