About Sofia Levina

Soprano Sofia Levina, born in Russia in 2001, graduated in 2025 from the Russian Gnessin Academy of Music, where she studied with Svetlana Kuznetsova. During her studies, she performed with the academy’s opera studio in roles including Violetta Valéry (La traviata), Queen of the Night (The Magic Flute), Iolanta (Iolanta), Tatyana (Eugene Onegin), and soprano solo in Pergolesi’s Stabat Mater. Since 2025, she has been pursuing a Master’s degree in Opera & Music Theater at Mozarteum University Salzburg, studying in the opera class of Gernot Sahler and Alexander von Pfeil, and the voice class of Christoph Strehl. Her debut at Mozarteum was as Female Chorus in Britten’s The Rape of Lucretia.
