Lubov Karetnikova obtained her studies in opera performance at Latvian Music Academy and Lithuanian Music and Theater University with Krišjanis Norvelis and Irena Milkeviciute, respectfully. As well as a Lied and Oratorium Master's Degree and Lied Duo postgraduate at Mozarteum University in Salzburg, where she has studied in classes of Barbara Bonney, Wolfgang Holzmair, and Pauliina Tukiainen. She has also worked with such singers as Tamar Rachum, Liene Kinča, and Inga Kalna. Fellow of the Innopraktika Russian Seasons in 2021 in St. Petersburg and 3—Internationale Opernwerkstatt Waiblingen 2022 with Thomas Hampson and Melanie Diener, Lubov is a semi-finalist in the Queen Elisabeth Competition 2023 and ARD Music Competition 2021, a Finalist in the Debut Lieder Abend in 2022.
