About Justus Rüll

Tenor Justus Rüll (b. 2003) will begin his Master’s studies at the Hochschule für Musik und Theater München (HMTM) in the 2026/27 winter semester, studying with Prof. Iride Martinez. His artistic development has been shaped by guidance from Roberto Sacca as well as his long-standing collaboration with Gerold Huber and Stanislava Stoytcheva. His experience includes rehearsing the role of Ferrando in Mozart’s Così fan tutte under the direction of Marcus Bosch, as well as his role debut as Don Ottavio in Don Giovanni. Further engagements have included the Festspiele Europäische Wochen Passau and performances with the Westpfälzisches Sinfonieorchester. In 2026, he will perform the role of Harlekin in Ullmann’s Der Kaiser von Atlantis in May, followed by a production of Mozart’s Così fan tutte, in which he will sing Ferrando, at Kammeroper München in winter. Justus Rüll is a prizewinner of the Fritz-Wunderlich-Musikgesellschaft.
