About Jonathan Hartzendorf

Jonathan Hartzendorf began his musical training as a baritone with Prof. Klaus Hager at the Hochschule für Musik und Theater Rostock. After switching to tenor, he was awarded Third Prize at the International Singing Competition Grandi Voci Salzburg in his very first year as a tenor. Upon completing his studies, he was immediately engaged by Landestheater Linz in 2022, where he has been a permanent ensemble member ever since. During his time in Linz, he has worked with conductors including Markus Poschner, Constantin Trinks, David Afkham, Christoph Koncz and Finnegan Downie Dear. In summer 2023, he made his debut at the Lehár Festival Bad Ischl as Count Stanislaus in Der Vogelhändler and as Count Sascha Karlowitz in Schön ist die Welt, both by Franz Lehár.
