Clarke Ruth started his musical training at the University of Western Ontario in London, Canada in 2013. He completed his Bachelor's Degree, studying with Tenor John MacMaster, and then later with Bass-Baritone Brian McIntosh. He participated in many of the university's opera productions, including as Colline in “La bohème”, as Simone in “Gianni Schicchi” and as Sarastro in “Die Zauberflöte”. From 2018 to 2020, he made his Master’s Degree at the HfMT Köln with Prof. Christoph Prégardien. He sang in two of their main productions: in 2019 as Collatinus in “The first being Rape of Lucretia” and in 2020 as Don Alfonso in “Così fan tutte”.
